Using the advanced scientific method I came up with to calculate our success rate for new year's resolutions I think I can say this would have gotten us up to 74%...

There are many interesting comments in this posting and quite a few wines I would have liked to try. In particular the Müllen Riesling and the Savagnin with the attractive label stand out for me. With regards to 2003 I am still impressed how well the Haart wines hold up - the basic 03 late harvest is as exciting as ever.
This is also a good occasion as any to repeat again that I envy you the easy access to the source of pleasure and excitement that is wine hunting on German eBay. In the UK eBay is dry, because of legal reasons.

Anyway, the newly crowned emperor of efficiency is tired now - getting to bed too late is sometimes the price for getting things done, and tonight I am not willing to pay it. I can only add that there were a few wines this year I also failed to report back on - but then there were either good reasons (totally unremarkable) or a certain laziness even a tireless Wine Rambler is entitled to.
Still thank you so much for writing this all up - reading your reviews is always a little bit like drinking with you, and as that is logistically different at the moment I love being a virtual part of it.
