I really like the green, and was actually surprised that the white variety was much more popular during my time in the Pfalz. Wasn't sure about England.

For green asparagus, I'm all about Sauvignon Blanc, but now I'm curious to try Pinot. Dry Muscat is also said to pair well, but I have yet to try.
